Necro armor to cost
Well i just started a necro and currently looking at the mm line. With my lvl 20 warrior I kinda rushed the game and got a free run to droks from beacons. With my necro i want to do the game right and only get droks armor when I get to droks. But I dont want to have to get armor in every new city. Does anyone have some armor suggestions for people who are doing the game right.
I was thinking get armor at ascalon then beetleton and then droks but i wonder if that would have a negative affect on me.

i finish the game with presearing armour, ( yes including hell's precipe ), then i have enough money to buy the 1.5k from drok's
the presearing armour allows me to build invinci monks out of that

Take the necrotic set, the 15k loos good, the 1,5 looks good too. It's cheap and it has 70 armour.
I recommend to buy your first armour in Asc City (the expensive armour trader), then in Lion's Arch, then somewhere in the Maguma Jungle and then Droknar's. If you have the money this is a good way to do the game right.

I generally take the rush to droks and get scars, anything that gives me more energy is good in my book.

Is it true that the scar patters are best for MM armor because of the extra energy?

1. Buy armor in Ascalon.
2. Replace it/most of it in the jungle with the collectors armor (AL 51).
3. Replace it/most of it in the desert with the collectors armor (AL 60).
4. Buy scars in Droknars. Or whichever you prefer.
Guildwiki lists the collectors, what they want, where they are, etc.

On my first necro I used Yaks all the way through until droks. I wouldn't waist your money after Yaks just wait until droks and get the 1.5k armor.

He told us he had the money and he wants to do it right. So.. don't tell him not to waste his money. I don't think it's a waste of money if you buy or get your armor in multiple places.
DeanBB's Idea is the best I think, you can also buy armors, but it's cheaper when you get them form a collector. (if money isn't an issue save yourself the time and buy your armor)
